Coaching Mastery Course – update

Coaches

I know with the end of school craziness that all of us are dealing with these days you may have missed my last few emails about the “Coaching Mastery” Free video series put on by John O’Sullivan of the Changing the Game Project. You have probably read many of Johns articles or seen his TED talk on youth sports, and hopefully you have been watching these great videos he has been putting out.

So far the course has taught us some incredible ways to get our players to compete harder and play better, as well as how to deal with those difficult parents who can drive you nuts. There are literally thousands of coaches watching this series right now, and everyone is picking up some amazing tips.

Today he is releasing his third video in the series on “The Secret Sauce of Winning Programs.” In it John will be teaching us about the things that great teams do that average ones don’t, and he will be interviewing a sport psychologist who has been part of 34 NCAA National Champion teams on building championship cultures. I saw this interview last year, and it is brilliant

John will be pulling these videos down in a few days, and you won’t be able to see them again until next year, so if you haven’t already signed up and watched them, do so now.

You can get them for free by clicking here

I highly recommend you watch these videos and join the discussion before they are down, because I don’t believe you will find this type of in-dept coaching education anywhere else.

Coaching Mastery with Changing The Game Project

Get a free copy of the book ‘Changing The Game’

Many of you know that I work closely with John O’Sullivan and the Changing the Game Project. John’s is an internationally known writer and speaker, as well as a former professional soccer player and longtime coach. We share a lot of each others content as we work to transform youth sports and make it a better place for coaches to coach, and for players to play.

This week – for the first and only time in 2015 – John is releasing his amazing online video series called “Coaching Mastery.” He first ran this course last year in 2014, and coaches from nearly every sport, from 4 different continents, called it one of the most unique and inspirational coaching courses they had ever done. I was lucky enough to be one of the select few coaches John offered it to last year, and the things I learned really blew me away.

See, this course is not your traditional X’s and O’s course. It is all about things such as the psychology of performance and leadership, how to build a winning team culture, and even how to educate your team parents so they don’t drive you up the wall. He has some amazing interviews with some of the world’s leading experts in sport science and psychology, coaching, and leadership. The things you will learn in this course will take your coaching, and your teams, to a whole new level.

This course is truly one of a kind

If you are interested in this type of coaching, John has asked me to invite all my subscribers to his FREE video series, where over the next 2 weeks you will learn many of these things, and hear from some amazing experts. Steve Biddulph Talks (September 2014)

*******EVENT CANCELLED*******

  • Raising Boys: Friday 5th September @ 7pm
  • Raising Girls: Sunday 7th September @ 2.00pm

Steve Biddulph is one of the world’s best known parenting authors. A psychologist for 25 years, he is now retired but continues to write and teach. His books, including The Secret of Happy Children, Raising Boys, The New Manhood and now RAISING GIRLS are in four million homes and 31 languages. They have influenced the way we look at childhood and especially the development of boys and men. Today though, the exploitation and misuse of girls and young women globally are his major concern. Steve’s live talks have had a remarkable public response, reaching 130,000 people over almost 30 years.

Many people express surprise at how moving and emotional these talks are, as well as how much fun. Steve has sold out a number of theatre tours across the UK and will return there again in 2014. Steve also led and funded a human rights project – the SIEVX Memorial Project that was part of a (sadly, brief) sea-change towards more compassionate government in Australia’s 2007 election. He also supports ChilOut (Children Out of Detention) and Sanctuary Refugee Trust. He was voted Father of the Year in 2000 for his work encouraging the role of fathers, and is Adjunct Professor in the school of psychology and counselling at Cairnmillar Institute, Melbourne. He has two grown up children, and lives in Tasmania with his wife and co-author Sharon, and assorted wombats.
